Bill Jankowski
A general manager with lifelong ties to Ottawa.
Jay LeSeure
In addition to being WCMY's early morning host, Jay is the operations director. In a nutshell, that means he's the guy who makes sure
everything that's supposed to happen to keep a radio station on the air and sounding good happens. If the transmitter suddenly shuts off,
he figures out why and turns it on again or he calls an engineer to the scene to fix it. If the computer that runs the station's ads won't play
some ad, he has to figure out why and make it work. He also interviews guests on The Morning Meeting. Jay has worked at WCMY since 1982.
Rick Koshko
Rick is the WCMY News Director. It's his job to make sure the news department is telling listeners what they need to know about things that
are happening in their community. Rick reads the news most weekday mornings. He has worked at WCMY since 1996.
Jill Williams
Jill is WCMY's business manager.
Amy Cassiday Amy is the receptionist--a vital role in any business. If you call WCMY for anything, Amy will likely be the one to figure out who should take your call. Amy also does Radio Trader five days a week.
Kris Michaels
Kris Michaels is a production person, in other words, one of the guys who creates commercials.
Karen Rhodes
Karen schedules guests and interviews them on the interview show called The Second Cup.
Ryan Alvarado
Ryan reads the sports on weekday mornings and works in the advertising sales department the rest
of the day.
Others Jean Eltrevoog, Susana Moreno, Jenica Skolek, and Jodie Landers work in sales. Without people like them, businesses with stuff to sell wouldn't know the advantages of advertising on the radio and when to buy ad time. Ernie Swanson is in engineering, which involves keeping the electronics working. And there's plenty of electronic stuff inside a radio station. John Knepper is our part time weekend person. Without someone like him, full time on air people who work five or six days a week would work all seven. Any other local staff members not mentioned here are either leaving WCMY or were inadvertently omitted.
