Esperantists like meeting people. If you travel abroad, you could stay in the home of a fellow Esperanto speaker and experience things you won't experience on a tour. Esperanto clubs are always hosting travellers. So even if you don't travel, you can meet people from other countries. There are Esperanto pen pals and Esperanto chat rooms so you can have some interaction with Esperantists without leaving your own home. You don't need to be part of a club or even have a club near you to do it.

Of course you can do all that if you know English. Enjoying the added dimension of Esperanto requires some desire for it on your part. If you just don't want or like the challenge of learning a language, you won't enjoy Esperanto. And if I haven't convinced you so far, there's nothing else I can say to do it except maybe to invite you to a chat or to look over an Esperanto lesson.
